Every Christian young and old needs the knowledge of discipleship and evangelism. Our Pastor and assistant Pastors will train us to be understand and be prepared to share the gospel Isaiah 62:10. All members are encouraged to take this class. It is vital to the kingdom.

2- Blessed Hands Christmas Party - BH comes together for a nice home cooked meal. We go all out on decorations and share a wonderful night. We thank everyone for their work. We exchange gifts and just enjoy our time together.

7- Men of Valor and Women of Virtue "Christmas Cider and Crumpets" Men and Women will be coming together on Wednesday evening 7-9. The men will be serving holiday beverages and the women will be serving their best homemade cookies and deserts. There will be nursery provided for children under 7.

No services 14,21,25. Church will be closed.

28- Full church service.. We will come together after the holidays and have a full church service.

Jay Farley and his wife Amy were faithful members and served at Healing Waters Church. They were sent out and God is using them MIGHTILY in the Kingdom. Amy, a former member of Blessed Hands Ministry, has taught others to worship and praise using her gifts. Jay has been involved with John Smithwick Ministries traveling to other countries and proclaiming and teaching the Word of God.

Meet Pastor Dennis

BiographyDennis Arnold grew up in a small town in Mississippi. He was attacked with polio at an early age. He was hospitalized for four years. After a touch from God, he was able to participate in various sports and overcame challenging obstacles with only one good leg. God gave Dennis an awesome voice. Even at the age of nine, he would stand on Coke crates and sing in the bars that his parents went to. At age 16, both parents being alcoholics, his father killed his mother. After graduating high school he received a full honor scholarship in voice at Holmes Jr. College in Goodman, MS. and later attended Mississippi State University on a voice scholarship. Before turning his life completely over to the Lord he had his own band and was singing in various clubs. Shortly after college, Dennis and Rebecca were married. Dennis worked in the corporate world continuing his music and songwriting. In 1999 Dennis and Rebecca started their evangelism across the country touching lives with his voice and testimony. He has appeared on TBN numerous times. Rebecca began a Praise Team of young girls who have also toured and appeared with Dennis on TBN and at his concerts. Dennis has a degree in Foundational Bible Studies from Thorsby Bible Institute. He studied under Mamie Jo Hunter for 16 years in Atlanta GA. Dennis' anointing to touch peoples lives with his speaking and singing has allowed him to minister to churches of all denominations across the United States and Canada. Dennis has recorded four albums and is presently working on another album. He is currently working on his first book. Dennis and Rebecca live in Clanton AL, with two of their children. Their two oldest sons are married and each have two children of their own. Dennis is now Pastor of Healing Waters Church in Alabaster, AL. The church was established in 2004. It is so apparent that God's hand has been moving in this ministry. God's grace and mercy is pouring out all around us. Pastor speaks at Men's Conferences, Church Conferences, and evangelizes.A Word from Pastor DennisMy life's passion is to live in the presence of God. I strive to do and say whatever brings glory and honor to Him. I believe in His Son, Jesus, and I know all things are possible through faith by the Power of His Name. He trusts me in the offices of Prophet, Pastor and all of His good and perfect gifts. I pray my ears always hear his unction that says, "Be still", "Wait", or "Go". I pray to have a 'right now anointing' I want to live a life that leaves an everlasting footprint of Holiness that resounds, "A Man of God was here."Pastor Dennis' TestimonyIn the late 1940’s and early 1950’s the disease polio was at its peak. This was just before the vaccine was discovered, but not in time for me. At the age of two, I was struck with the disease and left partially paralyzed. I was frequently in and out of the hospital and went through intensive therapy, surgeries, and traction. The doctors sent me home when I was eight, in a full body cast from my neck to my ankles. The cast had steel bars extending from my shoulders to my leg. I remained in that condition for months. I remember when I came from the hospital. I was shocked when they brought me home to a one room apartment, one bed, one chair, one window. I realized something was wrong. I soon discovered my parents had a severe alcohol problem.One day my father was sitting in the chair sharpening his knife, as he was staring at me, a look came over his face that was threatening. He rose from his chair and started towards me with the knife. I was very frightened and screamed to my mother for help. She lunged for the knife, and with his fist he knocked her unconscious. He, then with the knife, cut and ripped the cast from my body, and stood over me shaking. He then said to me, “son I am leaving and I am not sure when or if I will ever be back. But if I do come back be dead or be something else because I don’t want this life or you like you are”. With that he picked my mother up and put her over his shoulder and went out the door. I will remember the sound of that door lock slamming for the rest of my life. I cried and called for help until there were no more tears, and I was so thirsty I could not cry out anymore, but no one came.It was winter time, and there was three feet of snow outside, and somehow I ended up on the floor freezing. My parents had been gone for four days. In the middle of the forth night some one I couldn’t see knelt to the floor and lifted me in their arms. I could feel such warmth and a love, and I wasn’t cold anymore. I wasn’t hungry or thirsty anymore. I felt a wonderful peace, and went right to sleep. I was awakened by the lock rattling as the door was opened. To my shock and their surprise, I was sitting in my dad’s chair holding a glass of milk in one hand and a bologna sandwich in the other. My parents still standing in the door, my dad said; “who’s been in here taking care of you, and how did they get in? I have the only key”. My mother came across the room, knelt and put her hands on my legs, and we both realized my legs were moving. My father went down the hall and took a pair of crutches away from an old man and brought them to me. With them I stood and walked to the door and back. I continued to improve miraculously, and I was eventually able to give up the crutches and braces to walk on my own.Several Years later in the sixth grade, my new friend asked me to attend a revival with him. I had never been to church. When the invitation was offered on the second night I felt the call on my heart to be saved so strong I couldn’t resist. My friend told me to step out and go up front As my foot touched the aisle, I felt that same warmth and love I had felt in that one room apartment years ago. He reached out and embraced me and said “REMEMBER ME?” I looked around the church for the voice I could hear, but not see. There I accepted Jesus in my heart as my Lord and Savior.I have accomplished many things in my life that people told me was impossible for me to do, playing several different sports, including football, baseball, racquet ball and karate with many awards and victories. Today, most people wouldn’t notice I ever had polio, except for a slight limp because one leg has no muscle response. Without God I would be nothing. He taught me that “can’t” is not allowed for victory. I do not allow the word “can'’t” in my life or the lives of my family because I stand on a sure promise: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

It is our mission to awaken a passion for Christ's presence in sight, sound and a flowing of God's glory. To ready the church in becoming the "Bride of Christ" with signs and wonders following. To become a living well spring for Revival Fire. So the world may come and be reconciled to God in spirit and in truth. To "Go" in the name of Jesus and live out God's purpose for your life.

Blessed Hands is the worship team at Healing Waters. While this footage was taken an angel of the Lord was present and the person recording was knocked to the floor in the power of his presence while worshipping Jesus Christ and the camera kept rolling. Blessed Hands Ministry is called and dedicated to bringing praise and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ. We are changing the atmosphere around us.

You will feel peace, joy, reverence and a longing for the Holy Spirit. Our ministry is anointed to prepare the people for the Awesome presence of our Lord God!

Blessed Hands Ministry will lead you into praise and worship with creative signing and spiritual liturgical dance.

Blessed Hands Ministry uses creative arts to proclaim the freedom of expression in worshipping God. The union of tambourines, flags, creative signing, streamers and drama is a visual ministry that aids us in experiencing his Awesome presence as we give God the praise that is due him.

We have traveled to many places that have never felt the love, peace and forgiveness that the presence of God can bring.

Angela Angela ArnoldAngela is the Co-Director and Leader of Blessed Hands. Angela has been on Blessed Hands for 14 years. "Being a part of this ministry my entire life has taught me a lot. I have been forced out of my comfort zone more times than I can count. God has really pushed me into who He is. Each season that goes by is different with a different purpose. I have learned more about God in the experiences He calls on this group and into this group than most people learn in a life time. Worship is who I am and God is what my heart seeks after. I could not do anything different. We all have different languages of worship and different styles. I love to see people let go and give their everything to God. I love to watch and listen to people worship, especially if they are being pushed by God into who He created them to be. Being with these girls and our brother is really a blessing. We are together all the time planning something. We are crazy and have fun but God is always making sure we are in check. Blessed Hands has had many seasons but I am continously expecting. I want the wholeness of who God is and I live to move forward with him. "

She worked several years in the children's ministry and continues serving with children through missionary work in Bolivia.

Veiled in His Glory

Veiled in His Glory is a ministry of Healing Waters Church specializing in the design and creation of flags and billow cloths. Each flag or billow is created through the inspiration and guidance of the Holy Spirit. We create the flags as a tool to worship and exalt the Lord: they act as a proclamation, with each flag sending out an individualized message based upon color variations, patterns and movements. They serve as an outer expression of the sound and spirit inside of us. Each flag is prayed over and created with the utmost love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Shofar and Staff

Shofars and Staffs

The Shofar, or ram's horn is a unique form of instrument. In Biblical days the shofar was used in a variety of ways. To announce the onset of holidays, to rally troops in battle and at the coronation of the king. It was used by Gideon to confound the enemy and by Joshua to bring down the walls of Jericho! The shofar is an annointed worship tool.

The staff is a powerful tool of intercession, spiritual warfare and worship. They can be decorated with beads, strips of leather, feathers, ribbons etc. to express an attribue of God's nature. It is used as a symbol of authority. The staff itself has no power or authority, but when used as directed by God can serve many purposes. When the staff is lifted, struck on the ground or handed to someone in obedience to God powerful things can happen. In that moment circumstances can change, mountains can be moved and living water can flow freely where there once was none.

We are dedicated to the purpose of releasing the presence and authority of God to unlock and advance his Kingdom. Matthew 18:19 Again I say unto you that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask it shall be done for them by my Father who is in Heaven. Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive. Mark 11:17 And he taught, saying unto them, is it not written, my house shall be called of all nations a house of prayer. Zechariah 2:5 I will be a wall of fire about her and the glory within her.

Men of Valor

Men of Valor, is a men's ministry for teens and men of all ages, meeting every other Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Healing Waters Church. Bring a friend, your Bible and come ready to experience God's love. Men of Valor is led by Associate Pastor Stacie George.

Women of Virtue is a ministry for women. We meet together for friendship growth, disciple, and ministry. Women of Virtue meet every other Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Healing Waters Church.

In Proverbs 31, God speaks of His views of women. The Hebrew says that she is a powerful, or mighty woman. The Jewish translations of this verse call her a valiant woman or a worthy woman.

Youth

Breakthrough Youth

Breakthrough Youth is a program for young people ages 13 through 17 that meets every Wednesday evening from 7:00pm to 8:00pm for a variety of Bible based programs. The study is followed by a time of worship with the adults in the sanctuary. We want our young people to be grounded in God's word, filled with His Spirit and on fire for Jesus seven days a week!

Breakthrough Youth is a group of young people on Fire for God! Breakthrough plans on shifting the heavens for this generation and bringing God back to our nation, our schools, and our families. We yearn to see God's face and experience His presence on Earth.

We believe that Jesus is the Messiah and that He is coming soon. We want to be Ready and take as many people as possible with us to the promised land. We believe that through Jesus Christ and baptism of water is the way to salvation. Yet it is our Fruit we bear that earns us our rewards in Heaven. We desire to hear God's Voice Now and see His Glory Now on Earth as it is in Heaven!

Nursery/Toddler

Chosen For Worship

Our Nursery/Toddler ministry is for children between the ages of 0-5 years old. The children remain in the Sanctuary for the praise and worship portion of Sunday morning service. We then dismiss to our classroom for a fun-filled lesson, craft/activity, snack and play time. We incorporate the use of song and movement into our lessons creating a wonderful foundation in the Word and a love for the Lord.

Our Nursery/Toddler ministry is available for our Wednesday night services as well between the hours of 6:30 - 8:30 pm. We offer a lesson, craft/activity and plenty of free play time.

Action In Worship and Play

Kidz Squad is for children between the ages of 6-9 years old. Our children remain in the Sanctuary and participate in the Praise and Worship portion of Sunday morning service. We then dismiss to our classrooms for a fun filled lesson in the Word, craft/activity and snack. Kidz Squad learns a new memory verse each week with Treasure Tickets awarded for successful memorization.

Our Sunday morning Kidz Squad program is dedicated to teaching children to praise the Lord with joy and freedom while providing a life-giving foundation in the Word of God.

Chosen For Worship is for children between the ages of 6-12 years old. We practice every other Sunday. The children praise and worship the Lord using flags, streamers and dance. For 2011 we have 6 performances scheduled throughout the year. We welcome all newcomers who have a heart to praise!
